These terms cover how the Redfox Fowl catalogue works, what you can expect from us, and where our responsibility ends. They apply to every page, breed listing, housing plan and equipment note published on this site.
Redfox Fowl publishes reference material for smallholders, backyard keepers and small-scale breeders: breed notes, incubation and brooding schedules, coop and run dimensions, feeder and drinker options, fencing, bedding and biosecurity supplies. Listings are grouped by bird type and life stage. Stock notes and dimensions are written for South African conditions, including Highveld winters, coastal humidity and load-shedding.
You may read, print and share our pages for your own flock planning. You may not copy breed descriptions, coop diagrams or plan dimensions into another catalogue, resell them, or present them as your own work. Automated scraping, bulk downloading and republishing of listing text are not permitted.
Floor space per bird, ventilation rates and run sizes are guidelines drawn from our own coops and from common practice. Your soil, slope, wind exposure and predator pressure will change what works. Check measurements against your own site before cutting timber or ordering mesh. Health and biosecurity notes are general information, not a veterinary diagnosis, and do not replace advice from a registered veterinarian.
Availability of breeds, incubators, feeders, drinkers and fencing is shown per listing and can change with the season. Where an item is out of stock, we will tell you before confirming anything and offer the closest alternative or a revised date. Delivery windows are estimates and depend on couriers and regional routes.
We are not liable for losses that follow from building a coop differently from the plan, from predator breaches where the specified mesh or buried skirt was not installed, or from bird health outcomes after following general guidance. Our responsibility is limited to supplying the goods and information described in the listing you ordered.
We update these terms when our catalogue, suppliers or legal obligations change. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
